“Sylvester” Brite

Sylvester is a 17 and a half year old cat that originally came to us for having a hard time walking. Sylvester was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism, Albuminuria Glomerular kidney disease, and Hypokalemia as well as suspecting diabetes.

Sylvester was hospitalized for 2 days with a jugular catheter and IV fluids. He was having blood draws daily for 5 days in a row to check his potassium levels.

Sylvester is now home, doing well and taking a potassium supplement to keep him feeling well.
